Machine Knit-able : Rain Chain | Pullover

The stitch pattern is inspired by rain chains that gently guide the rain falling from the roof onto the ground on rainy days.

The sweater is worked flat sideways with an all-over pattern and seamed. It features Reverse Stockinette Stitch throughout and 3/4-length sleeves.

The stitch pattern incorporates contrasting colors with short rows.

In addition to being pretty and unusual, this pattern caught my eye because it is knit in "Reverse Stockinette Stitch" . This term is often used by machine knitters and for this stitch pattern it puts the purl side to good use.
