Make it special! Turn a classic square armhole shape into something special.
Although the sample includes hand knitting, this project could be done entirely on the machine.
Add a collar with a picot bind off, add a sweet ruffle at the hem for a feminine touch.

Sometimes a yarn just calls to you.

I was in my local yarn store, and with the hundreds of yarns she had in stock, this one kept calling to me. In addition to the spotted colors, the large cakes also appealed.

The hour-long drive home flew by as I made plans for my new sweater for my granddaughter.
