Machine Knit No Roll Infinity Scarf

An Infinity Scarf or Mobius Scarf has no beginning and no finish by definition. Making a reversible cloth out of a mobius on a knitting machine is a challenge. That requires rotating your work or reconstructing stitches on single-bed machines.

The stockinette curl can be tamed by alternately knitting stockinette and reverse stockinette.
This fast project yields a reversible scarf with minimal stockinette curl.

Skills needed:

Scrap On and Scrap Off
Reverse the knitting to prevent the curl
Kitchener Grafting to join the ends

Knit this scarf and brush up (or learn) the skills needed to create reversible fabric PLUS try an invisible seam worked on the knitting machine (Kitchener Grafting on a knitting machine)

Great project. You can make it wider and use it as a head wrap or a shoulder wrap. The techniques learned will improve your knitting.
