Designed by long-time machine knitter, designer and instructor Eileen Montgomery, this beautiful, stylish jacket is a winner!

The classic style was originally knit with a g-carriage on a standard gauge machine, but with the Knit it Now Dynamic patterns based on Eileen's design, you can use ANY yarn, ANY machine and ANY stitch patterns!

Cherie, I'm not sure what method she used. I prefer to crochet slip stitch when I sew in my set in sleeves. It is easier to "ease" them and if I make mistake, it's easy to remove the stitches and try again. You can see and example of this at 03:57 of this video. https://www.knititnow.com/learn/tutorial/580/set-in-sleeve-perfection

Quick question regarding Eileen using a sewing machine to sew the sleeves in. Did she use a regular straight stitch or zigzag on her sewing machine; or, did she use a chain stitch on either her serger or coverstitch machine? Just wondering what she used and what would be best. I think the chain stitch would be best, as that seems to be what manufacturers use and is similar to linking machines.
